I thought so…I was interested in a 750i L back in the late 80′s but they didn’t want to deal, but Mercedes-Benz did, so I did.

The interior of the 7 series looks EXACTLY how it’s supposed to look. The visuals are not very “busy” but rather they exude simple elegance…that’s a BMW design feature and its done on purpose, especially in the flagship luxury limousine. Many times you can’t truly appreciate what they’ve done unless you understand the BMW philosophy. BMW doesn’t compromise its core philosophies to “out glitter” another car.

The new one is going go be nice too. It should be more aggressive. I also look forward to some new technologies/luxury features that S Class always brings when it launches. The current one brought night-vision!!

i agree with you, its the same since last 10 years with few tweaks here and there, A8 is awesome, from exterior design point of view you can argue (A8), and audi sedans look similar, this is where mercedes is on top i think, mercedes have worked on interior too, 2013 S class will show that! but right now A8 is the one!

M3, M5, M6 are but this 7 series? Even the video shows a chauffeur driving his boss in the car. The 7 series is no longer made for driving enthusiasts. It has gotten too big, too heavy and too boring looking.

Still ugly and boring. BMW keeps trying but the 7 series still has none of the charm and charisma of the classic E38 750i with the sports package featured in the 1997 film Tomorrow Never Dies. I call it the “James Bond” 7 series and to me it’s the best one ever made.
This one looks like a Lexus, although interior is very nice.
